This spring I had the pleasure of visiting four colleges and universities across the US. In early March I spent  three days as scholar-in-residence at Marymount College in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, just south of Los Angeles. Marymount is a small Catholic school on a heavenly hilltop perched above the great Pacific Ocean. I spoke to 12 classes and did an evening event. It was great to spend time with the students, and great to address several different kinds of classes; talking cosmology and the universe story with the science class; talking writing and the golden age of hip hop with the English class, talking systemic racism, global justice and arts activism with the Social Issues and Peace Studies classes.

At the end of that month I traveled to Iona College in New Rochelle, NY
