is she radiant?
is she radiant?
she's the Sun's
little sister
her skin?
smoother than
the lily in
Georgia O'Keefe's
mind
her lips curve
around a word
like justice
damn, if I knew her better
I would tell her:
you are goddess
of the night sky
cloaked in humility
sweet as the knowledge of death
you are beautiful
sacred involution
the divine
folded into
your thought, breath, emotions
for one instant to be one with her becoming
to be close to her unfolding
to be near her blossoming
for one instant to be one with her becoming
with seeds in her pocket she
travels through the city
the cycles of the moon in her womb
thoughts of freedom on her tongue
with seeds in her pocket she
travels through the city her
hair dark
as the
crow-black night
is she radiant?
she's the Sun's
little sister
her skin?
smoother than
shadows,
and
sweet
like
desire
